KK Women's and Children's Hospital runs 24-hour emergency services for children (Children's Emergency) and for women with urgent pregnancy or gynaecological problems. Adults with other emergencies should go to a general hospital A&E.
Call 995 first in a life-threatening emergency
For chest pain, signs of a stroke, severe breathlessness, heavy bleeding or a bad fall, call 995 for an SCDF ambulance rather than driving there yourself.
Good to know
Patients are seen in order of how urgent their condition is, not in order of arrival, and A&E fees apply. For problems that are not emergencies, a GP clinic or polyclinic is usually faster and cheaper.
