DBS will spend $1 million on haze relief, giving sets of two N95 masks to some 275,000 vulnerable seniors and migrant workers, with 50,000 masks and 100 air purifiers going to social service agencies such as Allkin Singapore, Lions Befrienders and Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities. The bank is also working with these partners to give air purifiers to 500 seniors who live alone and cannot leave their homes to find respite elsewhere.
