North East Community Development Council and Temasek Polytechnic launched a Community AI Literacy Programme on 28 October, in which about 300 tertiary students trained by the SG Digital Office teach seniors the basics of AI and how to use it in daily life. Seniors will also learn to check information against reliable sources, spot possible AI-related scams and protect their personal data, with the programme expected to reach more than 1,200 older residents.
