MOH says 7,973 lower-income Singaporeans with severe disability had received over $48.9 million from ElderFund by June 2026, with monthly payouts of $150 or $250. The scheme is a safety net for those who cannot do at least three daily activities unaided, have low MediSave balances and do not or no longer qualify for CareShield Life, ElderShield or IDAPE.
