The Haze Task Force said that if the 24-hour PSI goes above 200, grassroots volunteers will hand out N95 masks to eligible groups, including the Pioneer and Merdeka Generations and CHAS Blue and Orange card holders, with vending machines at selected transport hubs and Social Service Offices. Family members can collect masks using the older person's NRIC, and seniors are advised to avoid or cut down outdoor activity, especially if they have heart or lung conditions.
