The government brought forward its N95 mask distribution on 14 October, before the 24-hour PSI crossed 200, with masks available at community clubs and vending machines at selected transport hubs, Social Services Offices and PA venues. Eligible groups include Pioneer and Merdeka Generation seniors and CHAS Orange and Blue cardholders, family members can collect on their behalf, and older people with severe heart or lung problems are advised to check with a doctor before wearing one.
