The new NHG Health Centre at AMK Specialist Centre, which opened on 10 October, offers selected preventive health checks and follow-up for residents in central and northern Singapore whose screening shows abnormal results or health risks, so fewer of them need to travel to a hospital. Separately, Tengah will get its first family service centre in mid-2027 and an active ageing centre at Block 121C Tengah Drive, although no opening date has been given for the centre.
