In a parliamentary reply, MOH said around 36,000 seniors were screened for hearing under Project Silver Screen in 2025, and about 60% were found to need further assessment or help. About 7,200 seniors received means-tested hearing-aid subsidies through the Seniors' Mobility and Enabling Fund in 2025, and more than 99% of applications succeeded.
